Build your own process

New product formulations require adjusted processing. Explore the technology.

Together with NIZO experts, in a one-day-session, you will explore processing conditions with your own recipe. During this day you are free to build a process line of available and connectable process equipment and adjust the process equipment to your wishes. Depending on the complexity of the desired process and recipes the amount of process conditions and products will be determined.
In our pilot plant you can optimise processes like heat treatment, homogenisation, evaporation, membrane separation, fermentation, production of spreads and mousses etc.
 

Deliverable:

• At the end of the day you take home your product (not food-grade) and a good overview of the possibilities of the technology to be used.

Design and scale up your process

The quick scan may give you a good idea of the application of a technology for your product. Often this allows further experimentation in your own factory. In case the optimisation of the process is more complicated, NIZO can design and scale up a complete process. Process simulation models can be used to speed up process development and so reduce time and costs for up scaling. Pilot plant trials can be done on prototype products.
