The process scan developed by NIZO is based on hands-on industrial experience, combined with extensive lab, pilot and modeling facilities and can directly be applied at your factory floor.
By implementation of the recommendations of the NIZO process scan, a cheese company was able to increase the cheese yield by 10%, just by applying an optimum adjustment of the process parameters. In similar ways, we have evaluated and optimized several process lines in the dairy and food industry. We have also applied the principles of a process scan to reduce the water and energy use in a number of food related processes without hardware investments.
