Practically the word sustainability refers to prolonged benefit of the three P's over time (Planet People Profit). The major focus is shifting from only the last (Profit), to the combination of all three, especially the Planet.

NIZO has several proven technologies, is developing new, and has an extensive technological network in order to help you to improve performance of your processes and side stream valorisation. In this setting I focus on finding the best solutions together with you.

My expertise as an expert comprises of a) fermentation technology of fungi and Lactic Acid Bacteria (science and industry), b) Issues and approaches in the area of sustainability, c) translation and application of science into products.
