Milky Way! The express which shows the vastness of our galaxy is inspired by milk, an important food for over 6 billion human beings of all ages. The importance of this nourishing liquid drove me to be a part of research in the area of dairy.

Within the past four years I have been doing my PhD program at the University of Guelph in Canada working on casein micelles, the most abundant proteins in milk and their application as nanocarrier for beneficial polyphenol compounds. Luckily this period was followed by a contact with NIZO food research that ended up to an assignment at this well-known research company.

As a project manager in Flavor & Texture division I have this opportunity to apply my knowledge in milk protein functionality to focus on running both innovative and customer driven projects leading to developing new food products and creation of new ideas in food ingredient. Indeed, this mission is attainable with collaboration with other experts and technical personnel at NIZO food research.

So, you can leave your challenges to us, we will be your arms to find best solutions.
