Marja Kanning

A successful new or improved product which I was able to contribute to, that is my passion. I enjoy to working together with industrial and non-industrial partners in the area ranging from the development of unique products to the optimization of industrial products and processes.

With a background in Food Technology and 15 years of experience, I am convinced that it is possible to realize new concepts which can be translated to industrial scale. Developments can be achieved in limited time using a unique set of expertise, background knowledge and equipment. Examples include the development and food grade production of products with specific nutritional and/or textural requirements for clinical studies or products for exhibitions. Furthermore, industrial product and process improvements are done worldwide in the area of drinks and desserts.

This challenges me to explore what is possible with existing and emerging techniques, processes and ingredients together with you at NIZO food research or at your site.
