When I was a little girl I was wondering how "drop", the famous Dutch licorice was made. Since somebody told me that studying food technology would give me the answer and introduce me into other wonders of food, I was sure about my future profession. Years have past and nowadays I'm proud to work for a company where we work with food wonders every day.
My experience is in microbiology, food safety and process optimization. My present work in the Processing Centre of NIZO food research includes process optimization and quality management.
I like to work in a dynamic environment like the Processing Centre of NIZO where every process differs from previous ones and a large variety of ingredients are processed.
My challenge is to provide high quality products to our clients that meet all (legal and client specific) food safety requirements without loss of the advantages of pilot production like speed, flexibility and changes on the spot.
