Tim Lambers

Being trained in biochemistry and human physiology, the food technological aspect of health and nutrition is my area of interest. The main focus of my research is how we can apply food technologies to design ingredients or formulations to deliver health and other physiological benefits.

For example, with our clients I’ve worked on controlling gastrointestinal digestion, the transit of foods trough the gastrointestinal tract and associated physiological effects; how to determine the bioactive potency and development of bioactive ingredients.
