NIZO Trainings

Good technologists are increasingly difficult to find. Education at schools or universities tends to be generic, and theoretical rather than practical. Furthermore, employees will still need to build their networks and careers upon graduation.

NIZO offers you the opportunity to make use of our experience, expertise and network to train you in exactly the area that you want. And in exactly the way you want!

NIZO trainings

Below you will find five ways in which we offer our trainings.

We offer:

Tailor made trainings- on-the-job

Tailor made trainings on-the-jobShould you wish to be trained in a specific topic? Become an expert while working on your own company’s project?

We offer you the opportunity be trained on the job at NIZO. Before the start, we develop the outline of the training project with you, including clear end results.

You stay at NIZO for the duration of the project, which can differ from several days to a number of months. Our experts will coach you on a daily basis while you work on your project, enabling you to get the specialist knowledge and skill set that you seek.

Of course full confidentiality of your project is maintained.

A few examples of network meetings:

  • NL Guts (Netherlands Group of Users of Technology for Separation) is  an organization enabling innovational business for Small / medium size enterprises.
  • Membrane Agency. 180 Experts get together on a regular basis to listen to lectures, and to network. The meetings are hosted by various members, including NIZO.

Collaboration with educational institutions

Educational institutes offer knowledge, but they often lack in practical facilities. NIZO enables them to carry out part of their curriculum at the NIZO Processing Centre.

NIZO experts are experienced in coaching PhD students and interns. Sometimes students come straight from universities, sometimes they are hired by companies to work on a specific project. NIZO vacancies are published on Your Career at NIZO.

Financial options include EU trainings and PHD Programs (national and international).

We are closely linked to educational institutions such as WUR (professor Michiel Kleerebeezem), Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre (Dr. Sacha van Hijum) and Universiteit Utrecht (professor Hans Tromp).
