You can find us at the marketplace. Across both days, six colleagues from NIZO Food Research and the Food Innovation Campus will be available to speak with visitors, share insights, and explore collaboration opportunities.
Our presence at the event focuses especially on the Food Innovation Campus — the new ecosystem in Ede where companies, researchers, and innovators work side‑by‑side to accelerate the development of future‑proof food solutions. At our stand, you can learn more about the facilities, the community, and the opportunities the campus offers for R&D, scaling, and partnership.
On Wednesday 8 April, from 14:45 to 15:30, Els de Hoog will contribute to Break‑Out Session 2, organised by Foodvalley. She will speak on Latest in Balanced Meat & Dairy – Upscaling Balanced Proteins / Hybrid Products. The final presentation title will be announced soon, but the session will highlight NIZO’s expertise in hybrid product development and protein innovation.
Registered participants will also have the opportunity to visit our facilities on Tuesday 7 April, from 15:45 to 16:45. This pre‑event visit offers a closer look at our capabilities and the environment in which the Food Innovation Campus is taking shape. You will get the opportunity to visit Europe’s biggest flexible food-grade pilot plant and to get in touch with experts about the following topics:
On the same evening, 7 April, our CEO will join the invitation‑only dinner at the Mauritskazerne in Ede, bringing together leaders and partners from across the sector.
Throughout the event, our colleagues will be available at the marketplace stand — on the first day and the second — to discuss NIZO’s expertise as well as the vision and opportunities of the Food Innovation Campus. If you plan to attend and would like to schedule a meeting in advance, feel free to reach out. We look forward to connecting with fellow innovators at Plant FWD 2026.
