The driving force behind our efforts are the people in our organization. I am proud to think of NIZO as a responsible, people powered-company where everyone has a voice and shares the purpose to support the transformation to better food for better health. I’m actively engaged with the team in exploring innovative solutions, bridging gaps and realizing lasting business relations, while ensuring highest level of integrity.
Prior to NIZO, I was CEO of Prolactal GmbH from 2020 until 2023, a global leader in the production of B2B organic and goat ingredients for infant formula and other high-end applications. Between 2014 and 2019, I held various senior executive positions in ICL Food Specialties, delivering texture and stability solutions to food products, and NutriDutch dairy plant (now Vreugdenhill).
I am Dutch and hold a graduate degree in Civil Law, post-graduate degree in Corporate Law and Executive MBAs from INSEAD and London Business School. I am married, with three children.
