We’re excited to share that Ioana Iorga will give a presentation during an expert session on 5 May, from 12:35–13:00 in the Conference Theatre.
In her presentation, she will dive into how next‑generation probiotics (NGPs) and human commensal microbes open new possibilities for the industry—along with the production challenges they bring.
How do you grow these demanding organisms at scale? How do you keep them stable and ensure they survive from lab to end product?
Ioana will highlight how high‑throughput screening, niche‑inspired media, and advanced downstream strategies are reshaping the development of NGPs and unlocking new potential for conventional probiotics and postbiotics.
