Chief Contract Research Officer
Food has always been at the center of what drives me. It nourishes us, connects us, and reflects our cultures. My passion is using science to make food healthier, more sustainable, and more enjoyable.
Trained in microbial biology at MIT, I have spent more than a decade applying biotechnology to develop foods, fuels, and biologics. My career has included roles at Total SA, Ginkgo Bioworks, and now NIZO, where I have led both internal innovation programs and contract research that helps companies bring new technologies to market. My goal is to help translate scientific innovation into real-world impact.
Today, as Chief Contract Research Officer at NIZO, I am focused on helping our customers achieve their innovation and business goals by leveraging our decades of scientific expertise and world-class research facilities. We support innovation through a combination of publicly-funded pre-competitive research that advances fundamental science, and confidential contract research tailored to help our partners find practical and impactful solutions.
