4-5 Nov: Meet us at Future of Protein Production

4-5 Nov: Meet us at Future of Protein Production

We are delighted to announce that Robyn Eijlander, Innovation Manager at NIZO, will moderate the first day of the Future of Protein Production event in Amsterdam. Throughout the day, Robyn will guide discussions across the programme’s key themes, including consumer culture and communication, collaboration across the value chain, bioprocessing technologies, scale-up and industrialisation, and the food safety and regulatory landscape for novel foods. Drawing on her extensive experience in food innovation, she will facilitate engaging conversations between industry experts, researchers, and innovators working to shape the future of sustainable protein production.

One of the highlights of the program will be the panel discussion “Open Access Scale-Up: Should We Rethink Collaboration?”, which will explore how shared infrastructure and collaborative approaches could help reduce scale-up risks, lower commercialization costs, and accelerate the market adoption of novel protein technologies.

In addition, Punita Manga, Business Development Manager at NIZO, together with Arjan van Wijk of Cibus Nexum, will host an interactive workshop on Day 1 at 11:30 entitled “The Journey of an Innovation: From Proof of Concept to Commercial Protein Production.”

This workshop will explore the two critical and interconnected stages of scaling protein innovations: first, validating a robust and scalable production process, and second, establishing a commercially viable manufacturing strategy. Participants will gain practical insights into the technical, operational, and business considerations involved in bringing novel protein solutions from the laboratory to the marketplace.

Throughout the event, our team will be available to discuss opportunities, challenges and innovations in protein production. Whether you would like to learn more about our scale-up capabilities, bioprocess development expertise, or collaborative research opportunities, we would be delighted to meet you.

Visit us at Booth 27 in the exhibition area and connect with our experts throughout the two-day event. We look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam!
