Ede, The Netherlands – June 7, 2023 – FoodValley NL, a leading Dutch innovation network in the food and agriculture sector, is pleased to announce the launch of a new voucher instrument aimed at supporting startups. In this new scheme, startups can receive up to €50,000 for technology scaling trial productions. The official presentation of this initiative will take place during the highly anticipated NIZO 75.0 STARTUP DAY, scheduled for June 23, 2023.

On 23 June, 2023, NIZO is bringing together startups, investors and supporting organizations to explore collaboration opportunities and accelerate their innovation. This NIZO 75.0 STARTUP DAY will feature a series of engaging presentations from four stakeholders in the startup innovation landscape. Moreover, this event will offer attendees access to the state-of-the-art NIZO food-grade and flexible Pilot Plant facilities, as well as a chance to visit our in-house sensory lab, gaining valuable insights into the cutting-edge technologies employed in food innovation.

Highlighting the event, Emmanuel Anom from FoodValley NL will present detailed information about the newly launched voucher instrument designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This innovative scheme aims to assist SMEs in leveraging pilot-facilities to scale up their technologies or produce trial batches of products. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the program’s benefits, limitations and funding options.

With this event, we aim to boost the innovation power of startups in the food and agriculture sector, showcase NIZO’s capabilities, and create connections.
