Gisella Frijlink appointed CEO of NIZO

Gisella Frijlink will be appointed CEO of NIZO Group BV as of March 16th, 2021. Gisella joined NIZO as Chief Commercial Officer in October 2020 and added her strong background as senior executive in the Food industry and at Research Institutes. In her new position she will continue to build NIZO on the existing strong foundations and further develop the close cooperation with our clients worldwide.

For the past 18 months, Jeroen Koot guided NIZO through an implementation of a new organization structure and renewed market focus, strengthening the four fundamental value propositions: protein transition, health benefit substantiation, food safety and processing. Jeroen will ensure a smooth handover at the end of March 2021.
