Since our customers have great interest in developing more sustainable food products and corresponding ingredients you will be involved in a large variety of challenges and research questions where plant proteins play an important role. You are comfortable with that because, as the protein transition is a crucial step towards a sustainable food system, you understand the fundamentals of protein behaviour and fundamentals behind the role they play in food products. Therefore, you can deliver the required solutions in this role.
Developing dairy mimics (plant-based products) is a rapidly growing area where you will be working in, as well as in developing meat replacers, plant protein ingredients and other products. Translating and using protein knowledge together with the other experts on plant proteins allows you to help our customers with their challenges towards developing more sustainable plant based products.
