Janneke will explain NIZO’s multidisciplinary and multi-stage approach with regards to microbiome modulators, from discovery to health benefit substantiation. The following topics will be discussed:

✔️ Select the most suitable and promising microbiome modulators such as pre-, post-, and probiotics by NIZO’s state-of-the-art bioinformatics
✔️ Process development and upscaling to 600 litres, even for the more difficult strict anaerobes
✔️ Provide robust inside to which microbiome modulator is most promising for costly clinical trials by in vitro testing
